Housing – a pilot scheme is in place with joint working between Housing and MAFSS, whereby young mums in need are able to access housing provision with support
Health support from Midwives; as part of the overall strategy for Hull & East Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust it was decided to support National & Local strategies to reduce social exclusion. By providing a forum whereby teen parents can develop their parenting skills whilst receiving ante-natal maternity care; and also where appropriate, receive contraceptive advice and education to prevent further unplanned pregnancy and provide a more comprehensive user friendly service to care for teen mums, partners and carers. |
